or to something like -50% for Slayers (Ungrim Ironfist).

compare that to a constant -10% maintanence of Black Orcs. Worse, it's just a measly 10% boost on the handful of times you sack a place. but as a faction that pretty much wants to take over the whole of the badlands in short order, it's not that great, given that you don't really want to start sacking stuff until you move north. I mean, the sacking boost would be useful as Chaos maybe. Secondly, the faction effects are pretty lackluster. Even if you take Grimgor and end up picking up Azhag later, it's rather difficult to get the item you need prior to already having the campaign pretty well in-hand. Seriously, by the time you get the needed item, you've already spent a guarenteed 10 skill points elsewhere, and probably much more than that given just where you need to go and the inevitable difficulty of getting there before it becomes a madhouse. until you find out just where you have to go to get the quest item to unlock those skills. Of all the legendary lords, I feel like Azhag is the least practical and least useful to take immediately for your campaign's beginning.įirst off, it sounds awesome to have a hybrid legendary lord that is basically two parts Greenskins and one part necromancer.
